"The Holly and The Ivy Girl" This gorgeous little tune is attributed to Turlough O'Carolan - but I've yet to find the evidence! Arranged here as a duo for low intermediate and late beginner lever harps. Set in the key of D major, there are no lever changes and it moves along gently in triple time with no surprises. Gr 2/3 level Score and parts included $8 |

"Soon May The Wellerman Come"
Who would ever have thought a sea shanty could become such a hit around the world?? 'Soon May the Wellerman Come' is a sea shanty from New Zealand and is arranged here for two harps by a New Zealander! The Wellerman refers to the nickname the whalers gave the men from Weller shipping company who dropped off their supplies while at sea. This arrangement has something of a ragtime/ dixie swing to it - all quavers are swung, and at its slowest its a nice lilting tune, but when you get your fingers around some of the trickier parts it can be a rousing tune! Grade 2/3 level Score, parts and audio included. $8 |
"Bella Ciao"
Not only is it a traditional Italian protest song, but "Bella Ciao" has appeared in many movies, and on many albums, and there are many renditions of it around the world. It was a song in protest of the harsh working conditions for the workers in the rice paddies in Northern Italy around the end of the 19th century. And... it works really well as a duet for two lever harps. (played here by four!) Grade 2/3 level Score, parts and audio included $8 |
