A collection of works for the beginner harp - right from lesson one! With coloured notes on Cs and Fs and also green notes for the G strings. These things are all signposts for the beginner, and even though we don't have a green string, another coloured note helps the learner to easily identify parts of the notation.
The first handful of little tunes are all named after different sweets (candies) from New Zealand, and the cute and zany artwork is done by the nephew of the composer, Anna Dunwoodie. A range of simple key signatures, basic time signatures (including 6/8), and harp techniques such as grace note, glissandos and simple lever changes. The fingering is written on each piece. $15 NZ |
